General Summary
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine continues its commitment to actively pursue relevant and essential researches in the field of mental health. For the year 2008, a total of fourteen researches were made in the fields of biological psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, consultation – liaison psychiatry, social and community psychiatry, and clinical psychiatry. Four papers were completed while ten are on-going.
The Department’s Research Committee headed by Dr. Margaret Briones-Querijero conducts regularly research didactics among residents and fellows to facilitate research capability and awareness.
