Being the country's biggest charitable hospital, the Philippine General Hospital is and will always be in need of assistance from well-meaning private/public institutions and individual donors. Donations in both cash and kind are forever welcome.
All donations shall be acknowledged and accounted properly. For purposes of transparency, a report on how a donation was put to good use may be asked by the donor upon request. Such a system is already in place at the Office of the Deputy Director for Fiscal Services through the Coordinator for Resource Generation. For inquiries, please call (632) 524-5142.
Whenever a donation is meant to help a specific patient admitted within the Philippine General Hospital, kindly course the donation through the Office of the Director. Please indicate the patient's name and a hospital account under the patient’s name will be opened at the billing section. The patient's expenses and account will be coordinated with the help of the patient's personal social worker. For inquiries, please call (632) 523-7123.
Should a donor wish to give a donation personally to a patient, the Office of the Director may coordinate a special time and place for the donation to take place; in full view of the donor, patient, the patient's designated social worker and a PGH representative. Unfortunately, media coverage of such events is prohibited and will be denied if requested. In addition, the Philippine General Hospital shall not be held responsible on how these donations will be put to use. The donor shall accept the fact that accountability, on how the donation was put to use, solely rests on the intended recipient-patient. For inquiries, please call (632) 523-7123.
